Rowan Lake Lodge a fly in fishing camp, is located on the remote island of Rowan Lake out of Nestor Falls, Ontario Canada.

Rowan lake is approximately 60,000 acres with over 60 islands.  The lake structure, clear water, plentiful bait fish and vegetation supports an abundance of healthy world class trophy Musky, Lake Trout, Walleye, Northern and Bass.  Rowan lake offers open water and protection by islands and shoreline for all day fishing even on the windiest days.

Boats are also available on several adjoining lakes accessed by a short, easy portage to expand your fishing experience.

We are open May 1st for those who like the early lake Trout fishing at ice out.  We close October 15th so the musky fisherman and enjoy the fall fishing. The summer months between offer excellent Walleye Northern and Bass fishing.

Nestled on the bay of Big Sand Lake is the Cottage on Big Sand Lake L.L.C. This newly remodeled, fully furnished, four season cottage will accommodate up to six people. The cottage is available for rent by the week or weekend. A 14’ boat and motor are also available for rent. The Cottage includes all bedding and towels, fully equipped kitchen, 20” TV with DVD player, outdoor charcoal grill and a fire pit for a relaxing evening. Big Sand Lake in Phelps, Wisconsin is one of the best fishing lakes in Vilas County. With 1,408 acres, it contains abundant amounts of walleye, musky, northern, bass and pan fish. Big Sand Lake is also connected to Long Lake, another premier fishing lake.

We are situated in an ideal location for year around activities. Plum Lake is a class A trophy Musky lake with an abundance of Walleyes, Northern, bass and excellent pan fishing. Fall hunting can be rewarded with Whitetail, Grouse and Ducks. Winter sports include snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and ice fishing. Snowmobilers have access to miles of well-groomed and marked trails that pass right by the resort. Razorback Ridge cross-country ski trail is 1/8 mile from cabin door.

Located in beautiful Presque Isle, Wisconsin, we are just a few minutes from Boulder Junction and Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Enjoy watersports, fishing, swimming, and boating on our crystal-clear, 240-acre lake. The lake features a new boat launch for your convenience, or you way choose to rent our pontoon boat during your stay. Trails for walking, hiking, and biking can also be found nearby.

This cabin is a sportsman’s paradise! Musky, Walleye, and Yellow Perch are the dominant population among the fish and the deer are plentiful in the area. Both fishing and hunting are excellent!

Hiawatha Motor Inn is located just 2 miles north of downtown Eagle River Wisconsin on Duck Lake – on the Eagle River Chain of 28 lakes. This 29 room inn has recently been renovated with the warm northwoods feel. We are open year round.
